If you eat garlic or onions frequently, you can overcome the bad breath that it gives my sucking on a lemon. Likewise, stick a lemon slice in your water for the same effect. You can also keep a glass of lemon juice somewhere handy and simply put a drop on your tongue. This will actually stimulate the saliva in your mouth and help fight against bad breath. Next, look for products that contain peppermint oil. It can usually be purchased in a pill form from a drug store or pharmacy. It can also sometimes be found as a mouth wash. Keep an eye out for it and buy it if you need a quick fix for your bad breath. Next, using parsley can be quite effective against bad breath. The reason is because the plant is actually quite rich in chlorophyll and acts as a natural deodorizer. You can always keep some parsley around the kitchen to chew on when you feel like you have bad breath. If you would rather use a recipe, you can boil parsley with cloves. Afterwards, let the water cool and strain the parsley and cloves out. This can essentially be used as mouthwash every morning. Looking at one of the main causes of bad breath is the bacterium that naturally grows in the mouth. The bacterium produces sulfur. Sulfur is one of the main things that produce the smell that is associated with bad breath. Drinking plenty of water on a regular basis will help to not only quench your thirst, but also to kill the bacterium that is living inside your mouth. It is recommended that you drink at least 9 glasses of water every day. By drinking lots of water you can kill two birds with one stone and not only drink for your health, but also keep your breath clean. Unlike water, grains and sugar actually encourage the growth of the bacteria inside your mouth. If you are able to reduce the amount you eat of these products, you limit the amount of bacteria that is grown inside your mouth, thus reducing your bad breath.
